Old Dong ethnic apron fully embroidered by hand, in a beautiful harmony of greens and pale roses and delicate and varied embroidery. Excellent condition embroidery and some traces of wear (small missing mirrors) for this piece having been worn. The design of the apron, outer square and central round, is characteristic of the Dong ethnic group, south of Guizhou and is symbolically close to Tibetan mandalas.
The apron (38X41 cm) is presented on a double square of black cotton and equipped with handles to pass a bamboo or a wooden rod (not supplied) to be suspended on the wall. Overall dimension: 46X49 com.
