Old hand-embroidered apron of the Dong ethnic group living in southern Guizhou. The distinctive design, square on the outside and round on the inside, is reminiscent of Tibetan mandalas. It is here exceptionally decorated with Chinese characters and small characters. In excellent condition, it presents little damage due to time and still retains its original bright colors.
The apron (40X43 cm) is mounted on a double square of black cotton and has 2 handles, top and bottom, to be suspended on the wall by a wooden rod, a bamboo or any other support. Overall dimension: 47X50 cm.
